About Id To My Ego
━━━━━━━༺ 🐦⬛ ༻━━━━━━━
ID TO MY EGO is a digital magazine examining identity, human connection, and the forces that shape who we become.
Through literary criticism, cultural commentary, personal narratives, conversations, and visual art, we explore how people form—and reform—their identities through relationships, displacement, memory, loss, creativity, and social change.
Guided by psychological curiosity, a touch of whimsy and a gothic sensibility, ID TO MY EGO looks toward the beautiful, unsettling, and frequently overlooked dimensions of human experience. We examine monsters and outsiders, private reckonings and public transformations, always searching for the humanity beneath the surface.
ID TO MY EGO is a living archive for nonconformists who find meaning in art, depth in darkness, and who love, love– in any form.

Our Approach To AI
ID to my Ego is shaped by people for people. We value contributors for the distinct, deep knowledge, talent, and lived perspectives they bring to their craft.
We recognize artificial intelligence as a useful editorial tool and may use it to assist with research organization and improve productivity. AI does not replace our contributors, determine our editorial perspective, or substitute human authorship. We champion diverse human voices and perspectives that deepen our understanding of ourselves, one another, and the beautifully imperfect experience of being human. All published work is written, reviewed, and guided by people, with care for accuracy, originality, and creative integrity.
